2026 brings an enhanced Roland TY-300 featuring a new four cartridge white ink system, improved print profiles and updated pre-press tools.
How the new white ink system works:
The four cartridge white ink system will reduce interruptions caused by white ink changes meaning more reliable and longer continuous printing. The white ink system pairs the cartridges in slots 1-2 and 7-8 . When one cartridge in the pair runs out, the other automatically continues printing. By doubling the white ink capacity and enabling automatic switching, the user can reduce downtime and increase production efficiency.
New in VersaWorks 7:
VersaWorks 7 now supports PNG file format, which is commonly used for garment applications. A new Remove Background feature is also now available in both VersaWorks 7 and RolandDG Connect Designer making it easier to create files for DTF printing.
