Last week saw the beginning of another Sign and Digital UK exhibition at the NEC Birmingham. Now in it’s thirtieth year, the annual show is the leading event for signmaking, display solutions and digital print.
Your Print Specialists returned to exhibit at the show in its usual stand E2 with both a new look and a new theme to inspire the visiting crowds: Think it, Print it, Profit.
Hello Sign and Digital!
Sign and Digital was the perfect opportunity to showcase Your Print Specialists rebrand to the full. The look is a bold departure from the previous CMYK and grey inspired logo. We followed the new logo through to our stand design using a charcoal backdrop to make the logo stand out. Branded samples were also used to showcase the new look with an area of the stand set up as an ‘Experience room.’ Here you could view examples of textile print produced by the Mimaki hardware sold by YPS. This included cushions, fabric, flooring and our very own YPS sofa which drew lots of attention. Also on display were samples printed on the Mimaki UJF-3042 mkII, CFL Flatbed Cutter and JV150-130 solvent printer all of which were demonstrated by the team during the exhibition.
Think it, Print it, Profit?…

The theme of our stand was ‘Think it, Print it, Profit.’ We were keen to show visitors to the stand the many applications that are possible through digital print. From our backdrop to the samples on display, we wanted to inspire and excite Sign and Digital visitors to think about new revenue streams. This builds upon the previous years theme of Three Routes to Profitability. Using samples from Sign and Graphic, Industrial Print and Textile printed with the new logo and branding, we were able to create a cohesive range of items that could easily translate to profit for those looking to expand their product offering. It was our intention to create an engaging, eye catching stand that visitors to Sign and Digital would want to approach and be inspired by. Following the positive feedback from both visitor and exhibitors, we think we achieved just that.
