Designed for low-cost production of high-value digital textile applications, the TS300P-1800 1.8m wide roll-to-roll sublimation inkjet printer is a dedicated transfer paper printer, offering new levels of quality and productivity. Its capabilities have been enhanced with two fluorescent inks, which are available in yellow and pink. These inks were made especially for use in the low-volume, high-quality sublimation paper transfer market and are perfectly suited for fashion, sportswear, swimwear and shoes.

“The digital textile print market is one of the most innovative and fast developing sectors. This Viscom Best of Award serves as a recognition that our solutions are perfectly designed to help operations capitalise on the emerging opportunities,” said Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe, “Not only does the TS300P-1800 deliver speed, quality and throughput that support the demands of operations in this market, it also facilitates the fast-growing role of digital textile printing in the retail market. Fluorescent colours are the next step in the journey and our neon inks enable designers and garment manufacturers to extend their production and volume flexibility.”

The TS300P-1800 also brings a number of new capabilities to textile printing, including the ability to print on very lightweight transfer paper at speeds of up to 115sq m/h maximum when 4 colour printing (62sq m/h when printing with 6 colours for high quality print). The printer achieves accurate dot placement even with high head gap printing (adjustable from 2 to 7 mm) and features Mimaki’s automatic Nozzle Recovery System for consistent quality printing.

The newly developed Sb410 sublimation transfer ink is available in bulk ink packs and the printer features Mimaki’s Uninterrupted Ink Supply System for unattended continuous printing. An external dryer delivers up to 30% faster drying of the printed paper and Mimaki’s new TxLink3 RIP ensures exceptional colour management including colour replacement, accurate profile creation and fast file processing.

Exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland by Hybrid Services Ltd, the company’s National Sales Manager – Textile & Apparel, Stephen Woodall comments, “The TS300P-1800 has been a hit since its launch at FESPA 2015 and will be featured in live demonstrations at ITMA in Milan from 12th November.”

“For those not planning on visiting ITMA, Hybrid has a demonstration machine in its showroom and we welcome companies looking to audition this exciting dye sub printer,” he concludes.

Visitors to ITMA will find Mimaki on Stand C104 in Hall 18, with impressive samples of the new neon inks for active wear. Mimaki extends its Digital Textile Printing Solutions Wardrobe for ITMA 2015!

Mimaki has announced that it will bring one of the industry’s broadest selections of digital textile printing solutions to ITMA 2015; the world’s most established textile and garment machinery exhibition. Mimaki will be located in Hall 18, Stand C104, at the show, which runs from 12 – 19th November in Milan.

The Present and Future of Digital Textile Printing

“This will be our biggest and most exciting presence at ITMA ever,” says Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe. “Digital textile printing is truly coming into its own, not only for sample making, but for full production runs. Mimaki is leading the pack with digital textile printing solutions that can meet just about every need. We are excited to speak to ITMA visitors to our stand to find out how they want to use digital printing so we can continue to stay ahead of the curve with new developments that will take the segment even further.”

In addition to two new inks; Mimaki’s new neon pink and yellow which are ideal for sports and active wear, Mimaki will be exhibiting five 1.8m digital textile printers, each addressing a separate textile application space with new ink technologies. Mimaki’s advancement in Textile Pigment inks will be the first industry solution that combines the speed of the printer with the high quality of the inks into one simple-to-use solution.

Highlights on the Mimaki stand include the TS300P-1800 dye sublimation printer with SB410 ink which is ideal for paper transfer and will be able to take advantage of the new neon pink and yellow fluorescent inks. A Mimaki TS300P-1800 utilising SB410 ink for paper transfer in 2 x BMYK ink configuration will also be running at speeds of up to 115sq m/hr.

A Mimaki TX300P-1800 with TP400 pigment inks for direct printing will feature on the stand which will demonstrate printing that requires no washing step in post-processing; simply heating the media to fix the ink. This means there is zero waste water in this environmentally friendly approach to digital textile printing. Textile Pigment inks can be used on all kinds of fabrics, such as natural fibres like cotton or linen as well as man-made fibres.

A second TX300P-1800 will be running Dd400 Direct Disperse dye inks which are light and abrasion resistant and are ideal for industrial textiles as well as swim and active wear. Additionally, a Mimaki TX500-1800B Sticky Belt driven system will be running RC300 reactive dye inks which can be used for direct printing on textiles such as cotton and other prepared printable fabrics.

“We are also pleased to be able to show a brand-new concept printer,” Horsten adds, “The 3.2m TS500P-3200 is a highly productive digital textile printer, which will be commercially available in 2016 and will deliver beautiful prints for wider textile requirements such as curtains, bed covers and more. This printer will use Mimaki’s SB410 inks, and we are looking forward to hearing what visitors have to say about the new opportunities it will open for them.” Last but not least, Mimaki will announce the new SB420 Dye sublimation inks for direct print for the TX300P-1800 direct to textile printers.

Exclusively distributed in the UK and Ireland by Hybrid Services Ltd, the company’s National Sales Manager – Textile & Apparel, Stephen Woodall remarks; “Mimaki’s presence at ITMA confirms our commitment to delivering market-leading textile printing solutions. The raft of new products we’re seeing from Mimaki ensures we have printers to suit every textile printing requirement, onto almost any fabric and at a broad range of price points, speeds and sizes.”

The right Digital Workflow for error-free production

Also featured at ITMA is Mimaki’s digital textile printing workflow that will make both small batches and larger production runs more efficient. From the designer through to delivery, Mimaki’s digital textile workflow system makes fast, error-free production the name of the game. Combined with Mimaki’s outstanding digital textile printers and inks; this highly automated workflow makes it easier for designers and textile manufacturers alike to take advantage of the many benefits digital textile printing can offer to their businesses.
